Redvelvet cake is a very famous cake of the world which is made by adding cheese, cream and milkmaid, which is red maroon in colour and for making it, things like flour, cocoa powder, condensed milk, milk, vinegar, buttermilk etc are used. So today, we are going to make our red velvet cake by using eggs, by using eggs the cake becomes very soft and its lattice becomes absolutely proper.

So in this redvelvet cake recipe, we will use red colour along with a little cocoa powder so that the colour comes out perfect. Although I have often used buttermilk in egg recipes, but if you do not have buttermilk available, you can use vinegar.

Redvelvet cake was first made in Maryland and at that time beetroot juice was used to make it red, which in today’s time, by using a little cocoa powder along with red color, its color becomes perfect, its perfect recipe was first prepared in America, which by around 1940 started being served in restaurants as a good dessert.

Redvelvet cake has a unique taste in itself which is made with cheese and sweet mate, a taste which once tasted, you will never forget it.

Tips for making RedVelvet Cake:-

  • Use mascarpone cheese to make redvelvet cake.
  • Use homemade buttermilk instead of vinegar in redvelvet cake
  • Use room temperature eggs in RedVelvet Cake.
  • Do not over mix the redvelvet cake batter.
  • Make the cake only after the sponge has cooled completely.

Butter:-Butter gives the cake delicious tenderness and a good structure

Sugar:- Sugar is used to sweeten any batter and to make a good texture in it.

Egg :- Egg is one of the ingredients which does a lot of work it helps in enhancing the taste, aroma and texture of the things, Egg enhances the taste and quality of any cake.

Refined flour: Refined flour is the most important ingredient in any recipe.

Cocoa Powder:- Cocoa powder in this recipe helps in getting a perfect color along with health benefits.

Vinegar:-Helps to increase its life time

Baking soda 5 gram

Process of making:-

1:- First of all, put butter and sugar in the mixer and mix well until the sugar dissolves completely.

2. When the sugar dissolves completely, add eggs one by one and mix on slow speed.

3. Now take flour, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder in a bowl and add them little by little into the egg mixture and mix on slow speed.

4: Now add buttermilk, redvelvet essence, red color and mix on slow speed.

5: Once the batter is prepared, put butter paper in the greased mould and fill it as per your requirement.

6: Now bake in a preheated oven at 170⁰ Celsius for 25 minutes.

7: After baking, check it by inserting a toothpick in it. If the toothpick sticks to the batter and comes out then it means it is not cooked. If it comes out plain then it means it is cooked.

8: Once the sponge is cooked, leave it to cool and when it cools down, take it out of the mould.

How to make Sponge Cake :

Now to make the cake, mix cheese cream and condensed milk well and then add whipped cream to it and mix it.

Now slice the sponge in three slices, then pour sugar syrup in it, then pour cream in two layers and place the third sponge slice on top, now frost the cake with the help of cheese cream, then put red velvet crumbs on it and garnish as per your choice.

Now keep the cake in the fridge and let it cool.

Then serve it.
