When it comes to sandwiches, I think of only one thing, how crispy our bread is and when it comes to crispy, I like only one bread, that is French Baguette, it looks amazing and is really tasty when it is cooked immediately. When it comes to making a sandwich and if there is a chicken item in it, then it is even more fun.
French Bucket, as the name suggests, is a bread made in France. Initially, it was made of 70 to 80 grams, but nowadays it is also made one to one and a half feet long. According to a historian, French Bucket was made for the first time in 1920. Initially, it was made very thin and very long.
Steam is required to cook French Bucket but the steam was not over on time, so at that time to cook French Bucket, first a tray was placed inside the oven, then French Bucket bread was put in it and steam was heated by pouring water in the empty tray.
French baguette which looks very crisp from outside is very soft from inside and the cut mark on it makes it look very attractive. I usually have it for breakfast. I like French baguette a lot.
Making baguette is very easy. Whenever I make baguette, I prefer to make big sized baguette. I never faced any problem in making French bread.

French baguette is made from flour, starter, yeast, gluten, water and salt. The interesting thing is that bread made with such few ingredients looks so delicious, beautiful and crispy. Although almost all the chefs make baguette using almost the same recipe, yet everyone’s baguette looks different.

Flour :- Maida is the most important ingredient in making any bread.
Starter :- Starter is a type of natural yeast which when used gives a lot of shine to the bread and makes the bread very crisp from outside.
Yeast :- Yeast works to make any dish rise.
Gluten :- Gluten is used to create layers in bread.
Salt: – Salt maintains its taste

Although the dough for French baguette can be kneaded by hand, but if you want to make a lot of bread, then you will need a spiral mixer and for baking you should have a modern oven with a stone base, French baguette bakes very well on stone, and the oven should also have a steamer. If you want to make a little, then you can take a separate stone and use it at the time of baking.
And the most important thing is the prover because if there is prover then the bread proofs well and the prover helps the bread to rise quickly.
Recipe/ ingredients:-

gluten | 10 gm |
water | 500–550 gm |

Baking Temperature:- 250⁰ c
Baking timing:- 10-15 minutes
Process of making:
1: – First of all take a bowl, then add flour, starter, yeast, gluten, salt, spices, now put water either in spiral mixer or in a bowl and knead until the dough becomes completely smooth.
2:– Now keep the dough covered in the hot room, now after an hour fold the dough and stretch it, you have to do this 3 times.
3: The more times you fold and stretch the dough, the smoother it will run.
4. Now cut the dough into pieces as per your requirement, then cover it and rest it for at least 30 minutes.
5:- Now give the dough the shape of a French baguette. And place it in a dusted mold or on a dusted cloth so that the baguette does not stick. Use rice flour for dusting।
6:– Now keep the French baguette either in a proofer or covered where air does not reach the French baguette, because if air reaches the baguette, it will dry out and the baguette will not turn out well
7. Now turn on the oven and place the stone as this bread will be baked on the stone.
8:– When the French baguette is proof, mark it with a cut blade and steam it in a pre-heated oven and bake it for 10 to 15 minutes.
9:- Now when it is ready, a cracking sound is heard at the time of its release.।
10:- Now let it cool down completely. When it cools down, wrap it in plastic and keep it aside.
