About Melon bun

Melonpan bun eak prakar ka sweet bread hai. Melonpan Tokyo ( Japan) ka ka bana sweet bread hai. Jo Taiwan aur china me kafi pasand kiya jata hai . Melonpan bun ko cookies dough se dhakker banaya jata hai. Melonpan bun me butter , sugar , egg ki bharpur matra hoti hai jisse melonpan bun ko aur breads se kafi alag banati hai, aur taste bhi kafi alag hota hai . Melonpan bun ko cookies dough aur bread dough ko milaker banaya jata hai . Melonpan bun me two layers hote hai eak to cookies dough ka aur dusra bread dough ka. Kabhi kabhi melonpan bun me choco chips bhi milaya jata hai . Melonpan bun 1917 ke aas pass me Tokyo Japan me eak hotel me pahli baar banaya gya tha.

Baking timing:- 15-20 minutes

Ingredients:- flour , icing sugar , castor sugar , salt , yeast , eggs , water , butter , milk powder , baking powder.

Recipe ( For Bread Dough)

Bread flour:-                200gm

Icing sugar:-                 35 gm

Salt:-                               05gm

Yeast:-                             05gm

Beaten egg:-                   12 gm

Water:-                            100 ml

Butter:-                            20gm

Milk powder:-                 08gm

Recipe  ( For Cookies dough:- 

Butter:-                            35 gm

Sugar :-                            30gm

Beaten egg:-                    25 gm

Flour:-                              80gm

Baking powder:-             5gm

Castor sugar:-                  glazing

Process of making:- In Hindi

• cookies dough

Step1:- Sabse pahle cookies dough ready karenge , cookies dough banane ke liye sabse pahle eak bowl me Room temperature butter lenge , phir usme icing sugar daalke wisk se acchi tarah mix karenge.

Step2:- Jab sugar butter me mix ho jaye to beaten egg ko thoda thoda ker ke daale aur mix kare .

Step3:- Ab bowl me baking powder , flour daalke acchi tarah mix kare, aur cookies dough ko celing film maarke refrigerator me rakh denge.

• Bread dough

Step4:- Ab eak bowl me flour, salt , sugar , milk powder yeast le ,  bowl me water , beaten egg , butter daalke dough ki kneading kare jab tak dough eakdam smooth na ho jaye, phir dough ko bowl me celing film maarke 20 minutes ka room temperature me rest de.

Step5:- Ab rest dene ke baad dough pe punch kerke uska gas nikal le aur dough ko equal weight me divide ker le. Phir round ball shape banaker flour dust kiye tray me rakhe 

Step6:- Ab cookies dough ko bhi equal weight me divide ker le, aur round me patla sheet jaisa banaye.

Step7:- Ab rounded bread dough ko cookies sheet se cover kare aur shape ko thik ker le , aur phir usko castor sugar se coating kare aur scraper se melonpan pe diagonal pattern shape banaye.

Step8:- Ab melonpan ko 35-40 minutes proff hone ko rakhe.

Step9:- Bake in preheated oven at 340F for 20 minutes.

Process of making:- In English

• cookies dough

Step1:-  First we ready cookies dough, for making cookies dough , first we take room temperature butter and sugar in a bowl and mix. Well.

Step2:- When sugar mixed in butter then add beaten egg little by little and mix well.

Step3:- Now by adding flour and baking powder mix the dough well , and keep the dough in refrigerator.

• Bread dough

Step4:- Now take flour , sugar , salt , mix powder , yeast in a bowl , by adding water, beaten egg , and butter , knead the dough untill become smooth and elastic, now keep the dough in bowl and celing wrap the dough and keep for some rest.

Step5:- When bread dough become double in size , punch the dough and remove the air , and divide the dough in equal weight, then round the dough like a ball and keep in flour dust tray.

Step6:- Now also divide the cookies dough in equal weight and size and make round thin sheet.

Step7:- Now cover the rounded bread dough with cookies dough , and coat with castor sugar, and make a diagonal pattern shape with scraper on melonpan.

Step8:- Now keep the melonpan for proffing for 35-40 minutes

Step9:- Bake in preheated oven at 340F for 15-20 minutes.
