Pecan pie recipe

Ingredients:

1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

1 1/2 cups pecan halves

3 large eggs

1 cup corn syrup

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions: Process of making :-

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges if desired.

3. Spread the pecan halves evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.

4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

5. Pour the mixture over the pecans in the pie crust, making sure to distribute it evenly.

6. Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any drips and place it in the preheated oven.

7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. You can cover the pie with aluminum foil halfway through baking if the crust is browning too quickly.

8. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack before serving. The pie will continue to set as it cools.

9. Once the pie has cooled, slice and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Enjoy your  pecan pie!
