Main ingredients used in mousse cream:-

Milk :- Milk is used in making pastry cream.

Eggs :- Pastry cream is made by separating the yolk and white of the egg, and eggs work in many ways

Sugar :- Sugar is used to make mousse sweet.

Gelatin: – Gelatin is used to set any dish , i am using powder gelatin if you are vegeterian then you can use agar agar , but gelstin sheet are best.

Chocolate ganache : – Chocolate ganache is required in this recipe, this is main recipe .

Ingredients:- Milk, egg, sugar ,chocolate , cherry , gelatin

Preparation time:– 20-25 minutes.

Recipe:

Milk470 ml
Eggs6 nos
sugar115
Chocolate ganache 250 gm
whipped cream500 gm
Gelatin5 gm
water20 ml

Process of making:-

Step 1:- First of all, put the gelatin in hot water.

Step2:- Then take a bowl and heat the milk in it.

Step 3:- Take double bowls, put egg yolk in one and egg white in the other.

Step 4:- Now add sugar to the egg yolk and mix it well. Now add the egg yolk mixture to the hot milk. Then mix it on a double boiler. Then add chocolate ganache and gelatin and mix. Keep mixing till the customer is fine. Then remove it from the double boiler and store it at room temperature.

Step 5:- now beat the egg whites till they become stiff and then add the custard.

Step 6: Now mix whipped cream in batter and then fill it in the glass or in mould and refrigerate till it gets set, normally it gets set in 3-4 hours. Then serve it cold with cherry on top.

Tips and Tricks for making chocolate mousse:-

Making chocolate mousse is quite easy but there are a few things to keep in mind when using gelatin.

  • Use cold whipping cream to make chocolate mousse, because if the cream is not cold it will not beat properly and if the cream is not cold it will not rise much.
  • Do not beat the cream too much while making the mousse because if beaten too much, the cream will become tight and the mousse will not have the right finishing.
  • Whenever I use gelatin, I dissolve it in water separately. Do not boil the gelatin by dissolving it. And do not boil the gelatin.
