Donut eak prakar ka dessert hai jisko olive oil me fry kerke banaya jata hai .Donut puri duniya me famous kahi kahi aapko sirf donut ke shop mil jayenge jaha tarah tarah prakar ke sirf dontus milenge . Donut ko bahut tariko se bahut saare shape me banaya jata hai , jo ki aasani se kisi bhi bakery ya supermarket me mil jata hai. Donut ko banane ke liye esko round cutter se Kata jata hai,aur eak chote cutter se beech me bhi kata jata hai.

Donuts banane ke liye butter sugar , eggs, flour , salt , yeast , ka use kiya jata hai.Donut ko lamba, square , round ya ball ke shape me bhi banaya jata hai. Donut ko garnishing kerne ke liye esko chocolate me half deep kiya jata hai aur sprincles aur icing sugar ka bhi use kiya jata hai.

Donut ka suruwati ullekh Washington Irving ke kitab “A history of New York” me 1889 me tha. Eak anthropologist Paul R.Mullines ke anusar donut pahli baar 1803 me eak english cookbook me  likha gya. Ingredients:- Flour, sugar, salt , butter , egg, gluten , Improver, yeast.

Donut frying temperature:- 360 -370⁰F

Recipe:-

Flour:-                   1kg

Sugar:-                  120gm

Salt:-                      20gm

Butter:-                 100gm

Yeast:-                   25gm

Gluten:-                5gm

Improver:-          5gm

Egg:-                     2nos

Milk:-                    400-500 ml

Process of making:-In Hindi

Step1:- Sabse pahle eak bowl lenge usme flour,sugar, salt, yeast, gluten, Improver, butter lenge , phir enko spiral mixer me daalker milk ke sath knead karenge aur phir one by one egg bhi daal denge , Ager spiral mixer na ho to hath se he knead kare tab yeast ko milk me ghol le.

Step2:- Dough ko eakdam acchi tarah knead kare jab tak ki dough eakdam smooth na ho jaye, aur usme elasticity na aa jaye ..

Step3:- Ab dough ko thoda rest denge phir usko 11 mm tak bel le , phir usko round cutter se cut ker le , phir usko dust kiye huye tray me rakhe , phir donut ko prove hone ke liye rakh denge ..

Step4:- Jab donut prove ho jaye to usko 370⁰f boiling oil me fry kare dono side se.

Step5:- Ab donut ko thanda ker le phir usko half chocolate me deep kare ye to phir half se cut ker ke ganache ya pastry cream bhare , phir usper icing sugar fruit ya chocolate se garnishing kare ..

Process of making:- In English

Step1:- First we take flour , sugar , salt , Yeast , gluten, Improver, butter and put in spiral mixer add milk and knead at medium speed and add egg one by one ,if No mixer you can knead with hand ,(Mix yeast in milk ) if kneading With hand.

Step2:- Make a smooth and elastic dough.

Step:- Give rest dough for some time , Roll the dough 11mm and cut with round cutter , keep the donut in flour dust tray for proofing.

Step4:- Fry at 370⁰f boiling oil from both side .

Step5:-When donut cool, deep half in chocolate or fill pastry cream, garnish with icing sugar , fruit, chocolate..
