The best apples for apple pie are those that maintain their shape during baking and have a good balance of sweetness and tartness. Here are some of the top choices:
1. Granny Smith:- These apples are very tart and firm, making them a popular choice for apple pie. They hold their shape well during baking and provide a nice contrast to the sweetness of the sugar in the filling.
2. Honeycrisp:- Known for their crisp texture and balanced sweet-tart flavor, Honeycrisp apples are excellent for apple pie. They stay firm when baked and add a great texture to the pie.
3.Braeburn:-These apples have a firm texture and a sweet-tart flavor. They hold up well during baking, making them a good choice for pie.
4. Golden Delicious:- With a mild sweetness and a soft texture, Golden Delicious apples are often used in apple pies. They can become quite soft when baked, so they are sometimes paired with firmer apples.
5. Jonagold:- A cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious, Jonagold apples have a nice balance of sweetness and tartness with a firm texture that holds up well in baking.
6. McIntosh:-McIntosh apples have a tender texture and a sweet-tart flavor. They tend to break down during baking, so they are often paired with firmer apples like Granny Smith.

The familiar taste and smell can evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, making it a beloved dessert.
2. Delicious Flavor:-The combination of sweet, tart apples with cinnamon, sugar, and a buttery, flaky crust is irresistibly delicious. The balance of flavors, with the spiced apples and the rich pastry, appeals to a wide range of tastes. Adding a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream enhances the flavor even further.
3. Texture Contrast:- The contrast between the soft, tender apple filling and the crispy, flaky crust creates a satisfying texture in every bite. This combination of textures is a big part of what makes apple pie so enjoyable to eat.
